Patri gifted me these Tuvok ears in celebration of finishing my LARAW (Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing) class at the end of my 1L year.
The ears are approximately 2 in. x 1.5 in and were obtained by the auctioneer directly from the makeup artist who applied them to Tim Russ. I think Tim Russ plays the best Vulcan in all of canon — he was a Trekkie before he took the role and understood Vulcan lore well enough to stay consistent to what had been established while also bringing greater complexity to the species.
Because of the delicate nature of the ears, I didn’t want to take them to a framer and wanted to frame them myself. I created a tutorial for others who are interested in framing Vulcan (or other delicate prosthetic) ears, which can be found here.
